CENSUS FLAWED – Does Not Reflect Contemporary Australia

By July 10, 2026August 10th, 2026No Comments

The Census released by the ABS has failed to reflect true religosity in Australia.

“If you have a census that does not mandate the ticking of “Religion” you will end up with a skewed result that does not reflect faith in Australia,” said Greg Bondar, Christian Voice Australia National Director.

The ABS must mandate the compulsory ‘ticking’ of ‘religion’ if a true and fair view of faith is to be reflected. The data for religion is needed for the planning of future infrastructure such as churches, faith schools, faith hospitals, and faith aged care centres.

“The ABS has been politically motivated by Labor to ensure that Christianity (Religion) is not a mandatory tick so as to convince the Australian public that Christianity is on the decline which falls straight into he laps of the anti-Christian lobby,” said Bondar.

“The time has come to counter the anti-religion campaign which advocated against the ticking of the religion option in the Census,” added Bondar.
